Lorie O’Donnell, a Loudoun County Public Defender, was arrested last month for shoplifting. O’Donnell is accused of stealing a can of Red Bull from a grocery store in Winchester. Christine McCombs, the security officer who reported the incident to police, says that “she had caught the female taking items once before but never had her charged.” O’Donnell reportedly told police “she has a problem and is going to seek professional help.” No criminal record was found for O’Donnell, however her driver’s license was suspended. O’Donnell is scheduled to appear in Frederick County Courts on June 19th for the shoplifting charge.
