How can you tell if a lawyer is a good lawyer? Of course, you should consider years of experience; the number of cases handled; specialized education, training and experience in a particularly complicated field such as DUI / DWI; online ratings; whether the lawyer has been disciplined by the state bar for misconduct; membership in professional organizations; etc., but wouldn't it be nice to know if the lawyer has actually been successful? Of course, it would.
As a client, you probably have more confidence in, and feel more comfortable with, a lawyer with a proven track record of success. Of course, every case is different but there is still value in being able to see and read about some of the results a lawyer has been able to achieve in other cases. Learning about the results in other cases may help you gauge the quality of the representation and make you feel more comfortable with a particular lawyer because those victories can demonstrate familiarity with an area of the law, the ability to effectively negotiate, litigation and trial skills, etc.
T. Kevin Wilson, and his firm, The Wilson Law Firm, are dedicated to providing top-notch representation and getting the best possible outcome for each and every client. Mr. Wilson has been successfully fighting for clients all across Virginia for over 20 years and now you can read about a few of his Signature Victories.
