Allyson L. Wilson is the Chief Operating Officer of The Wilson Law Firm, where she is responsible for the firm's operations, financial oversight, and organizational systems. She designs and manages the structures behind client intake, billing, staffing, technology, and internal workflow. She joined the firm in 2016, after four years at North Carolina State University, where she managed a $1.3 million student fee budget for Student Government and later administered a $1.1 million office budget and monitored $2.6 million across the seven units of Student Leadership and Engagement.

Ms. Wilson has built the systems that record how the practice actually runs, having determined early what data would need to be captured. Eleven years of client files and seven years of lead records are held in a form that can be examined and analyzed rather than merely stored, which means most new operational questions can be answered with data already in hand, or by adding variables to the firm's existing datasets. She also works with the Commonwealth's public court records, which allows the firm's own results to be evaluated against what happens across Virginia.

She directs the firm's marketing and its communication with clients and the public, including its direct mail, its presence on legal directories and review platforms, and its outreach to former clients. Decisions about where the firm advertises, which jurisdictions it reaches, and how it presents its work are made from the firm's own years of collected data.

Ms. Wilson has completed the NHTSA DWI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing course, the same training used by law enforcement officers in DUI investigations. Knowing what a defendant is put through at the roadside informs how the firm explains the process to clients in the first days after an arrest. She also speaks with clients directly when the subject is expectations, and what a court is likely to do with a set of facts. She is also a Notary Public for the Commonwealth of Virginia.

She has presented at the 108th and 111th Annual National Communication Association Conferences and taught public speaking at George Mason for three years. She holds a bachelor's degree in Legal Communication and a master's degree in Strategic Communication and Public Relations from George Mason, both earned with honors.

Ms. Wilson first lived in Manassas from 1999 to 2006 and returned in 2016. She is a certified weightlifting coach, and spent years diving shipwrecks along the East Coast, her deepest at 190 feet off the Virginia coast.
