Kimberly Renee Dudley, the pedestrian, suffered broken bones when she rolled onto the hood of the vehicle and then dropped to the asphalt. The Waynesboro First Aid Crew rushed her to Augusta Health for medical care, and then she was transferred to the University of Virginia Medical Center for treatment.
Sgt. Brian Edwards said, "In Virginia...drivers have to yield to pedestrians in a crosswalk." Police arrested Howard with driving under the influence of alcohol and charged him with DUI; however, he is free on bond.

We wish Kimberly Renee Dudley a full and quick recovery following this Virginia DUI accident.
